PROMPT: Racial population shift of East Los Angeles with respect to the African American community. Talk about gentrification, panic selling, racial steering, and blockbusting. East LA used to be a predominantly white neighborhood and it became a largely Black neighborhood. Speak about the hardships faced as an African American during this time period. Target years are from the 60’s to 2000.
